The Spring Break Collegiate Challenge and warmer weather set
the stage for our busiest building season at Habitat for
Humanity. Our Habitat volunteers bring the muscle and
motivation to the jobsite, but more funds are desperately
needed to help us buy the materials necessary to meet our
building goals. It is faithful and generous people like you
who supply the funding to make what we do possible. Please
donate now and help us continue building homes in
partnership with families in need. Make a donation today!
Building Houses, Meeting Needs
Diversity in culture, diversity in nedd...Habitat partner
families and their communities remind us that there is no
shortage of hardship in the world. The current issue of
Habitat World explores Habitat's response to the crumbling
mud huts of Egypt's villages and the damp and drafty
shacks
of South Africa. It follows Sri Lanka's "poorest of the
poor
," who are digging their way out of insect-infested homes
with the help of cost-saving innovations. Reading these
stories, you'll see the spirit of Habitat in
action--solving
problems, meeting needs and making hope possible.
